I totally covet your rocks. And those two little dead trees. And, really, the whole background. One suggestion I would make is to make sure when you draw shoes that the soles are flat- or, if they're boots, that there are big wrinkles to show that it's being bent. Otherwise it looks like the boot has a mind of its own. And wants to eat something.

I'm pretty sure he shows up in volume 13...and he's quite active in v. 14. ^.^ I'm not sure if those are out in the US yet, but I saw 12 in a bookstore a couple weeks ago, so it shouldn't be too long a wait.

Sabel's a water youkai who has a thing for creating zombies and stuff. He likes annoying/fighting the Dragon Knights and appears to have fun being evil. (And hate being bored.) Sabel lives in a black pond and has a giant monster goldfish thing ( o.o;; )for a pet, plus the butterfly-thing.

IMHO, he's a pretty fun character. ^_^ Thank you sooo much for the +fav! I really appreciate it.

Heh, thanks for the comment! Some of the shininess was there originally from when I colored with Copic, like on the cloak, but good, I'm glad the ink helped. I think the color overall is slightly washed out from when I scanned it--I still haven't gotten the hang of adjusting the lighting and contrast. :/
As for the boots--aaiieee, now I'm going to think of demon boots! I still can't draw feet, for the most part, so you're right, that is something I need to improve. Practice ahoy!

Sabel is the yokai that shows up in volume 13 with ... was it Kitchell and Ringleys? When they enter those woods with the dead Dragon Officers? :3? If so, I just read about him, and I love him to death already.

Yep, he is. He gets a lot of action in volume 14, that's for sure, so you can look forward to that one too. Then it ends on a bit of a cliffhanger for him so AAAIIIIEEE I have to order volume 15!!! (Although I know from websites that nothing fatal has happened to him yet. ^.^) I love Sabel so much. And I'm glad you feel the same way. Have you seen the picture that was the poster in v. 14? (It's green and there are giant fishes and Sabel is really sexy. ^.^ ) Also he and Fedelta get the cover on volume 14. ^.^ ^.^ ^.^ (Ok, that needed a lot of smiley faces...)
